Embassy of Switzerland in Iran
As the official representation of Switzerland, the Embassy covers all matters concerning diplomatic relations between the two countries. It represents Swiss interests in the areas of political, economic, financial and legal affairs, as well as science, education and culture.
Resumption of visa services: 1 July 2026
Appointments for short-stay C visas (Schengen visas for stays of up to 90 days) can be booked through the website of the external service provider VFS Global from 6 July 2026 onwards.
Applications for D visas (national visas) may be submitted at the Embassy by prior appointment only.
